Miss Carissa, a Gen X originally from Connecticut, has been practicing Aerial Arts for almost a decade, and teaching/coaching as well. She began her aerial arts journey and training in Georgia where she practiced and taught all different aerial apparatus such as; aerial hoop, aerial hammock, lollipop Lyra, dance trapeze, beginner silks, and her favorite conditioning class; Circus Fitness. She completed her Instructor course in Charleston, SC. Carissa is a gold medalist in Aerial Hoop, and made Team USA in 2021. Over the years, she has been involved with, and has served on several different Aerial Arts Sports Federation Competition Boards in the US. She recently started her own Aerial Arts Sports Organization, as a safe space for youth aerial athletes to compete in: the United States Aerial Arts Organization.  Carissa is passionate about aerial arts, performance, and competition. She started Creations Aerial Arts in Beaufort, SC the year 2023, and can be credited with bringing the magical world of Aerial Arts to Beaufort. She is the Head Coach of the Creations Aerial Arts Travel Competition Team, founded in 2023.

Miss Carissa's favorite color is purple, and when she's not working on something that involves aerial arts, you can find her adding to her indoor plant collection, flying with her husband, hanging out with her 3 beloved dogs, or with the chickens on her farm.
